The Dodgers have been nothing short of dominant in the postseason, but the Jays know how to fight to the end. Meanwhile, Week 8 of college football delivered the chaos we crave, setting up for an unforgettable Week 9.

A Tale of Two Series

As of today, the LCS have officially wrapped up, but the two series couldn’t have unfolded more differently. While the Dodgers pulled off the clean sweep over the Brewers in the NLCS, the Mariners and Blue Jays took us right to Game 7 in the ALCS. Now, the World Series stage is set, as the Blue Jays take on the defending champs. 

Game 7 was everything fans hoped for — a gritty, hard-fought showdown between two resilient teams. In the end, it was the Blue Jays who took flight, edging out the Mariners 4-3 behind a clutch go-ahead homer from George Springer in the seventh inning.

Week 9 AP Poll
