Sweeps & Stalemates

Knicks steamroll into the Finals while the West turns into a war.

Hey Team πŸ‘‹

The Eastern Conference is officially a lock, but the West? That’s a whole different story. While the Knicks are sitting pretty, having bulldozed their way to the Finals with 11 straight wins, the Thunder and Spurs are busy trading blows in a series that refuses to break. New York gets to sit back and watch the carnage, but whoever emerges from that Western bloodbath will have to face the hottest team in basketball. The table is set for a Finals showdown. We just don't know who’s sitting in the other chair yet.

Clean Sweep: The Knicks are headed to the Finals, and they didn’t break a sweat. After a gritty start to their postseason, New York just bulldozed Cleveland in a four-game sweep, marking 11 straight wins and back-to-back sweeps. They are officially playing their best basketball in decades.

With their first Finals appearance since 1999 now locked in, the Knicks are chasing their first ring in 53 years. While the West is a monster to face (no matter who comes out), it’s been busy beating itself up. Meanwhile, New York is rested, locked in and holding all the momentum.

Spurs Strike Back: While the Eastern Conference Finals have been nothing short of a beatdown, the Western Conference Finals have turned into an all-out dogfight. After four games, the Spurs and Thunder are knotted at 2-2, turning what started as a potential runaway into a high-stakes best-of-three. Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs just answered a two-game skid by bullying the Thunder in a 103-82 Game 4 statement win.

The momentum shifts back to Oklahoma City for Game 5. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looking to regain his rhythm and Wembanyama operating at an all-world level, this series is essentially a clean slate.
