The period between the Super Bowl and Week 1 of the NFL is generally no fun for football fans. There’s some offseason movement, and we’ll get training camp in August, but it’s not enough to satisfy my football fix. Luckily, the most exciting event of the offseason takes place tonight: The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off at 8 p.m. in Pittsburgh.

The wait is finally over. Tonight, the NFL takes over Pittsburgh, and while the Terrible Towels will be out in full force, the real fireworks are happening on the clock. This class is defined by elite defensive anchors and a clear-cut QB1 who has been the talk of the NFL since his National Championship run.
