Hey Team 👋
The calendar has finally turned to March, and with it, the intensity of the college basketball landscape has shifted from a simmer to a full boil. Between the desperate energy of teams fighting for their seasons on the bubble and the elite programs jockeying for those coveted No. 1 seeds, the margin for error has officially vanished. This week’s rankings don't just reflect recent wins and losses: They serve as the final baseline before the brackets are drawn and the madness truly takes hold.

Men’s College Basketball Rankings

Last week’s results were nothing short of a total bracket-buster, and honestly? It’s the perfect appetizer for March. With the regular season wrapping up and conference tournaments looming, the polls have officially devolved into a beautiful, chaotic mess.
While the top three teams held steady and Miami (Ohio) remained unbeaten, the rest of the board was turned on its head. Saint Mary’s vaulted into the Top 25 after upsetting Gonzaga, while BYU tumbled out of the rankings altogether following a loss to West Virginia.
Predictably, this week’s rankings have sparked plenty of debate among fans. Vanderbilt managed to climb a spot to No. 24 despite a loss to unranked Kentucky, and Kansas retained its Top 15 status even after a 23-point defeat.
Elsewhere in the SEC, Florida continues its aggressive climb, now sitting at No. 5 after a 34-point demolition of No. 20 Arkansas. The 111–77 massacre marked the largest margin of victory over an AP-ranked opponent in program history and secured the Gators a share of the SEC regular-season title. Out West, Arizona defended its No. 2 spot with a convincing 84–61 statement win over Kansas, while Texas Tech emerged as one of the week's biggest winners, jumping six spots to No. 10 after a gritty road victory against No. 4 Iowa State.
